St. Kilda

Nora Kogan has a gift for creating beauty, in life and in jewelry. When she was 10, her family left Russia for the St. Kilda suburb of Melbourne, Australia, a hardscrabble neighborhood she likes to describe as "bohemian." Nora carried her mother's jewelry inside a transistor radio during their exodus - and the seeds of her future were planted. She founded St. Kilda in 2004, immediately earning acclaim for her delicate color play, superb stones such as the diamond beads and Burmese rubies, and vintage techniques like milligrain settings. Nora's creations are crafted in her Brooklyn, New York studio and she appears regularly in magazines - InStyle, Self, Glamour, Real Simple, and Martha Stewart Weddings.

St. Kilda Organic Life Pendants $160 - $180

Inspired by her travels and handcrafted in her New York studio, Nora Kogan’s sterling-silver pendants reflect her passion for nature. The larger pendant is etched with a bird on a blooming branch. The smaller pendant has a wind-tossed tree on the front and a Rilke quote on the back: “With this wind comes fate.” Both hang from sterling-silver chains with hand-wrought clasps. A portion of the proceeds from the sales of the necklace are donated to the Humane Society of the United States. Exclusively from RedEnvelope.

St. Kilda Love Ring $225 (Reg. $285)

From a distance, the cursive filigrees in this ring appear as swirls of gold—only those closest to her heart can read the subtle declaration of love. Designed by New York jewelry artist Nora Kogan, the hand-written lettering may be worn with the message facing her heart or yours.

St. Kilda Love Necklace $360 (Reg. $450)

From a distance, the cursive filigrees in this pendant appear as swirls of gold—only those closest to her heart can read the subtle declaration of love. The lettering is hand written in 10k-yellow gold by New York designer Nora Kogan, who dots the necklace with sparkling diamond dewdrops.

St. Kilda Pave Heart Necklace $385 (Reg. $485)

Devoted to time-honored workmanship, New York designer Nora Kogan crafts this diminutive and feminine piece by hand, down to the fittings and finish. Six rose-cut diamonds endow the heart with love’s sparkle. The petite 10k-yellow gold charm hangs from a 10k-rose gold chain, creating a sophisticated contrast.
